Plan your sprint and commit to a realistic scope as a team. Select stories, confirm capacity, set a sprint goal, and sync your sprint backlog to Jira in a collaborative planning session.
Made for Sprint Planning
Sprint planning works best when the whole team can see the backlog, discuss priorities, and commit to a realistic scope together. Instead of one person screen sharing Jira, Spreo gives teams a shared workspace where backlog items, sprint goals, risks, and decisions are all visible and updated in real time, with everything synced back to Jira.
The whole team can interact with backlog items on a shared board, drag stories into the sprint, and take part in the planning discussion.
Unestimated stories can be estimated during the session without switching tools, so planning and estimation happen together.
Sprint goals, risks, and capacity notes are captured alongside backlog items, so important context is not lost in separate notes.
All changes made during the session, including selected stories, estimates, and new issues, sync back to Jira automatically.
Sprint planning is the session where the team decides what work to commit to for the upcoming sprint. The team reviews the sprint goal, selects stories from the backlog, confirms capacity, and agrees on a realistic scope of work.
The session usually involves the full Scrum team and may include estimating any unestimated items, discussing dependencies and risks, and defining a clear sprint goal before committing to the sprint backlog.
Jira backlog items are pulled onto the board so the team can see the full list of work visually, interact with stories, and drag items into the sprint together.
Stories are dragged into zones such as Sprint Backlog and Not This Sprint to define what will be included, making scope decisions visible to the whole team in real time.
Any unestimated stories can be estimated on the same board during the session, without switching to a separate estimation tool.
The team reviews capacity, identifies risks, and discusses dependencies, capturing notes as sticky notes on the board so context is visible to everyone.
The team defines a sprint goal together to guide the work for the upcoming sprint, capturing it on the board where everyone can see and refer back to it.
All updates made during the session, including estimates, new issues, and assignments, sync back to Jira automatically with no manual follow-up required.

What the teams who use Spreo every week say about it
Marteijn Mout
Senior Scrum Master, Jumbo Tech Campus
For my teams’ retrospectives I have been using Spreo for nearly 1 year and am very satisfied with this collaborative web app 👍
But now with their new upgrade to v2 it goes next level! So many new template options (eg ice breakers, Poker planning, T-shirt sizing, WoW). And also useful advanced facilitator controls within the boards plus optimized usability… big applause 👏

We use Spreo for our retrospectives, but also for loads of other meetings. The team loves it! They are having a lot of fun with the planning poker and personalizing the retro boards.
The emoji stickies are a particularly big hit, as is the confetti tool.
We have used it a couple times for brainstorming and team building as well, and it worked really really well!

Spreo makes workshops, plannings & retros easy and fun! The variety of templates is impressive, they are not only visually appealing but also very original. It has made facilitating complex dynamics like OKR planning much easier and more intuitive.

I’ve been using Spreo on my projects since my teams had to adapt to the pandemic and start using this awesome tool. We’re from Brazil. My work area is audit and had a great experience using the tool to plan our projects. Also using it on personal projects too. I need to add that I had a really fast answer when I needed support from Spreo’s team. Thank you!

Our team is focused on new product development, and rapid iteration is an important part of our process.
Spreo helps my team facilitate retrospectives to make sure we’re focused on what matters. Spreo’s wide selection of templates helps me adjust based on which problems we’re facing—there’s always a template for my use case.

It’s just beautiful and convenient, with a few quirky and unique features that keep our meetings from getting boring (like the wake up slap)!
